When I remove my USB flash drive safely in WinXP, the light goes out on it so I can tell it isn't being used. When I safely remove it in Vista Beta 2, the light blinks but does not go out. Is there a problem with the USB setup?

I noticed the same when using a USB flash drive for the firts time with Vista.
I've selected to safe remove the flash drive but the LED on the flash drive remained light. On XP when save remove devides they get disconected from the USB.
